Half Marathon
The Turquoise Lake Half Marathon offers unparalleled mountain views as you run clockwise around scenic Turquoise Lake. The first 7.5 miles of the course consists of hilly paved road. The final 5.5 miles consist of single track dirt trail.

Awards

An award will be given to the top male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Stick around for the post-race raffle.
 
Venue
This event utilizes National Forest lands and County Roads. A special use permit has been issued by the US Forest Service's Leadville Ranger District and permission has been granted by the Lake County Commissioners.

Directions
From Harrison Ave., take 6th Street west until you get to a T (approx. 1 mile).

Turn right on to County Road 4. Follow County Road 4 until you reach a three-prong fork located adjacent to Suger Loafin' Campground/RV Park (approx. 2.5 miles).

Take the far right road, which is the continuation of County Road 4, to Turquoise Lake.

Take the first road to the right (as if you were going to drive counter clockwise around Turquoise Lake), and follow the signs to the Matchless Boat Ramp.
